This book is about Ulama-e-Soo — evil or corrupt scholars who misuse religious knowledge. They are not dangerous because they openly oppose Islam from outside. They are dangerous because they corrupt people’s understanding of Islam from within. They may appear as guides while leading people toward confusion. They may speak in the language of religion while serving the interests of the self. They may claim to defend truth while hiding truth.

A person who follows desire through ignorance is in danger, but a person who follows desire after knowledge is in greater danger.
